Fragte man in den 70-er Jahren nach den besten weißen Interpreten Soul und Blues getränkter Rockmusik, so nannten Kritiker neben Eric Burdon, Rod Stewart und Joe Cocker immer auch Frankie Miller. Doch anders als die Erstgenannten, schaffte der sympathische Pubrocker aus Glasgow nie den großen Durchbruch. Zwar kommt Frankie Miller aus Schottland, seine Idole aber entstammen der amerikanischen Rock- und Soulszene, hießen Ray Charles, Sam Cooke und Otis Redding. MIG-Music ist stolz diese außergewöhnlichen Dokumente in sorgsam restaurierter Form zurück ins Licht der Öffentlichkeit zu bringen. Eindrucksvoll belegt das hier vorliegende Konzert seine bestechende Form und sein außergewöhnliches musikalisches Talent!
